Town of Duck Lake Celebrates Centennial with ACFC (January 31st 2012) - On Saturday, February 25, 2012, the Town of Duck Lake will celebrate the 100th year of its incorporation as a Town. L'Association Catholique Franco-Canadienne de la Saskatchewan, founded in Duck Lake in 1911, will share in the celebration. The ACFC is a provincial French organization which instituted and promotes the French language, education and religion throughout Saskatchewan. Celebration events include a Mass at the Blessed Sacrament Church, and refreshments, rib-eye steak dinner, entertainment and dance, with Donny Parenteau, at the Duck Lake Belle-a-drome. The evening will incude the unveiling of the ACFC jubilee theme song. Tickets for the event are $35.00 each and are available at the Town Office (English) 467-2277 and the Regional Interpretive Centre (French) 467-2057.
Citzen of the Year (January 9th 2012) - Edwin and Jocelyn Pelletier have been chosen as Duck Lake and District's citizen of the year.

2012 Diamond Jubilee Celebration() - The Chante Lake Cabin Owners Association is hosting a celebration of the 60th anniversary of the reign of Queen Elizabeth, on Saturday, March 3 . There will be afternoon skating at Chante Lake, with favourable weather. Free family entertainment at the Duck Lake Belle-a-drome begins at 6:30 p.m. with Magician Roger Boucher, followed by Balloon Fun with Warren at 7:00 p.m.. Comedian Old Ugly will share his stories at 8:00 p.m. Cake and coffee will be served. Fireworks will end the evenings celebration. Come join us for an evening of laughs.
